Registered Nurse (Nights)

Hours: 42 per week

Salary: £20.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | Night Shifts

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Nights) to join a warm, professional team providing exceptional care and support to residents throughout the night.

In this role, you’ll ensure that every resident receives person-centred care, comfort, and dignity — maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice in a supportive and welcoming environment. About You
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience providing high-quality care to older adults or within a nursing home care setting.
  • Knowledge of care planning and best practice in person-centred care.
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with residents and families.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative team approach.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with residents’ individual care plans.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to care staff during night shifts.
  • Dispense and administer medications accurately, maintaining all required records.
  • Safeguard residents’ wellbeing by following correct reporting and documentation procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Monitor residents’ health and respond quickly to any changes or emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Care Standards Act.
  • Support with training, induction, and development of new team members.
  • Participate in care reviews, team meetings, and appraisals.
