A healthcare organization in Colchester is excited to offer an opportunity for a Registered Nurse with general acute experience to join a new 16-bedded unit dedicated to older adults. This role demands adaptability and strong clinical judgement within a fast-paced frailty assessment environment. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude, with the ability to respond to changing priorities. Immediate availability is preferred to support the unit's opening on December 29.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Registered nurse with proven general acute experience to join our brand‑new 16-bedded unit, caring primarily for older adults with an expected turnover of 24‑48 hours. This is a fantastic role for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a fast‑paced frailty assessment environment. You should feel confident working in a high-turnover unit, demonstrating adaptability, strong clinical judgement, and the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a new and developing service. We aim to open the unit on the 29th December, therefore we require someone who is able to be released from their current role at short notice. If successful following interview, we would be happy to discuss this with your current ESNEFT line manager to support the successful opening of the new unit.
