Base pay range
  • Salary: £22.00 per hour
  • Hours: 39 hours per week
  • Location: Yarnton Residential and Nursing Home, Rutten Lane, Yarnton, Oxfordshire, OX5 1LW
  • Joining bonus: £3,000

Your responsibilities
  • You’ll give the highest quality of personalised care to our residents in line with their individual care plans that you prepare and monitor
  • You’ll work as part of a team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues
  • You’ll regularly communicate with residents, their families and staff both verbally and in writing
  • Providing comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessments of the physical, psychological and social needs of the residents will be at the heart of your day
  • Be kind and supportive in every way to residents, their families and colleagues
What skills and qualifications are required?
  • You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • You will have experience of working in a clinical setting
  • Ability to communicate well with a flexible approach
  • Demonstrate kindness and a genuine care for older people and their needs
  • Use a Nursing Process to formulate initial Nursing Diagnoses by collecting data from subjective and objective information and prioritising and managing care
  • Experience in infection control, nutrition, moving and handling, wound care, phlebotomy and drug administration
