A leading healthcare provider in Bedford is seeking registered nurses for a role in palliative care. This position involves providing holistic support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Candidates must possess a full UK NMC registration and have at least one year of experience in Palliative Care. The role includes working flexible shifts as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, making a real difference in patients' lives.
About the Role: In palliative care no day is the same. Working on our inpatient unit provides a unique opportunity because we care for patients with such a variety of conditions and symptoms. If you’d like to develop your knowledge of many different conditions and the impact this has on patients and their families a role in palliative care with Sue Ryder is for you. Our nurses play an indispensable role in providing compassionate, holistic care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Their work extends far beyond medical tasks, encompassing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support for both patients and their families. Our registered nurses work on a rotational shift pattern, including early shifts, late shifts, long days, nights, and weekends. As this role supports a 24/7 service, we are seeking candidates with flexibility to work a range of shifts as required. The successful applicants will play an active role within our multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside Specialty Doctors, therapy staff, volunteers and other vital members of the MDT taking a holistic approach in providing the best possible outcomes for each patient.
