Job description

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Riverside Care Home for bank shifts. Your main role as a Nurse in one of our Care Homes is to support our residents with their medical, emotional and social needs. You will lead your team in ensuring each of our residents receive the highest quality, person‑centred care. You will plan, implement, evaluate and record the care given to residents and make sure our residents' care plans are accurate, personalised and kept up to date. You will help induct, train and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff ensuring they are confident in their role. You will administer medications to our residents with the utmost care and attention, ensuring correct procedures are followed. You will promote the independence of our residents and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life and retain their dignity, choice and individuality.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and a strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct as well as knowledge of up to date clinical practices. You will be aware of Health and Safety procedures required in your role as Nurse and ensure they are followed. You will ideally have experience in a similar role and in leading a multi‑disciplinary team and acting as the Nurse in Charge.
