Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a temporary Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to support individuals in mental health settings across various shifts. Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted NMC registration.
• At least six months of UK-based paid experience.
• Good standard of English and effective communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute episodes and respond to mental health crises, including de-escalation.
• Provide therapeutic support such as individual counselling or CBT.
• Develop and monitor individualised care plans for emotional well-being.
• Advocate for patient rights, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assess and monitor at-risk patients for signs of self-harm or suicidal ideation.

What You'll Do

• Managing acute episodes and responding to mental health crises, de-escalating aggressive or high-risk behaviour.
• Offering therapeutic support such as one-to-one counselling, group therapy, or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
• Developing and monitoring individualised care plans to support emotional and mental well-being.
• Advocating for patient rights, ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
• Assessing and monitoring at-risk patients for signs of suicidal ideation or self-harm, intervening swiftly to ensure safety.

What We Need From You
