Job summary

A children's residential service in West Midlands seeks a dedicated Registered Manager. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a children's home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Candidates must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare and have at least 5 years of experience in residential childcare, including 2 years in a management position.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in residential childcare, with 2+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations meet statutory and regulatory standards as Ofsted Registered Manager.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, train, and supervise a motivated care team.
• Foster a therapeutic and child-centred culture focused on positive outcomes.
