This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and resilient Registered Manager to take the lead in transforming a children’s residential home in Milton Keynes. The home is currently unoccupied and undergoing a full relaunch, with substantial support in place and a clear commitment to achieving excellence.

The organisation is seeking a values-driven leader who can navigate regulatory challenges, embed a safe and therapeutic culture, and build a stable, high-performing team from the outset.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead Ofsted registration and ensure readiness for safe placements
  • Establish strong safeguarding, compliance, and supervision practices
  • Provide visible, confident leadership to a dedicated staff team
  • Foster a therapeutic, reflective culture with a child-centred ethos
  • Work closely with an experienced Responsible Individual and external QA consultant
What they’re looking for
  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or currently working towards)
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy ready to step up
  • Robust understanding of safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards
  • Proven resilience and the ability to drive improvement with integrity
