Job summary

Witherslack Group in Leeds is hiring a Registered Manager for a 7-bed children's home. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure Ofsted standards are met, and create a safe, supportive environment for young people and staff.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), a full UK driving licence, and proven leadership of an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding home.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding children's home.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
• Full UK driving licence held for 12 months or more.
• Proven ability to lead, develop staff and drive positive outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a children's home and ensure Ofsted requirements are met.
• Create a secure, safe, and motivating environment for staff and young people.
• Support young people to achieve positive outcomes and pathways to becoming well-rounded adults.
• Involvement with new referrals.

Salary and Benefits

• Total package: Up to £60,364 - £73,808 per annum (7 bed children's home) PLUS 30% bonus accrued each year
• Bonus of 10% of salary reviewed annually
• £2,500 on call bonus (approx. 10 weekends per year)
• Attendance allowance: £1,400
• Long-term incentive plan: a bonus of 30% of salary accrued each year and paid as a future lump sum
