We’re now looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Registered Manager to lead our on‑site children’s homes – ensuring every young person receives the highest standards of care, support and opportunity.

As Registered Manager you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day running of the home and provide strong, positive leadership to your residential team. You will inspire, mentor and develop staff, creating a culture of warmth, safety and accountability where young people can thrive. Working closely with teachers, therapists, families and external professionals, you will help ensure that care, education and therapy are fully integrated for each child. You must have a sufficient level of mental, physical and emotional resilience to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing the residential team to deliver safe, nurturing and effective care.
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and the Quality Standards.
  • Overseeing care planning and risk management, ensuring every young person’s needs and goals are fully met.
  • Embedding a person‑centred and autism‑aware approach to all aspects of care.
  • Driving continuous improvement through supervision, training and reflective practice.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external professionals to promote best outcomes.

You will be joining a passionate and highly skilled community, supported by a Senior Leadership Team who are committed to your professional growth and the wellbeing of your team.

Qualifications
  • A Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • An excellent and recent proven track record as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting, with evidence of a highly effective supervisory role, compelling leadership results and commitment to working directly with all aspects of the day‑to‑day care of the children.
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding, regulation and positive behaviour support.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisation skills.
  • A genuine commitment to making a difference to the lives of complex and vulnerable children and young people.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the contextual working impact of the Children’s Home Regulations and their relationship with KCSIE.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and pension scheme.
  • £1,000 retention bonus (£250 after 1 month, £250 after 1 year, £500 after 18 months – subject to tax and NI).
  • Life Insurance and Medical Cash Plan (commencing after 1 month).
  • Team Teach positive behaviour support training, refreshed annually.
  • Personalised CPD and leadership development programme.
  • Free meals on shift and ample on‑site parking.
  • Employee Assistance Programme and in‑house mental health first aid support.
  • Beautiful 23‑acre semi‑rural campus on the edge of the Surrey Hills.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team and shape the lives of children and young people who need the highest level of care, compassion and consistency. If you are ready to take the next step in your residential care career and want to be part of a highly respected, supportive organisation – we would love to hear from you.
