Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd. are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a children’s home, ensuring safe, supportive care for young people and effective Ofsted compliance.

You’ll lead a dedicated team, influence outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in a top specialist education and care provider. The role includes managing day-to-day operations, coordinating referrals, and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children’s home.
• A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference.
• Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
• A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations in the home and ensure Ofsted requirements are met.
• Provide safe, secure and motivating environments for staff and young people.
• Lead referrals and coordinate care and services within the home.
• Represent the organisation as the Registered Manager and drive improvements.

Total package: Up to £79,185 ( 8 bed children’s home)

PLUS 30% bonus accrued each year

As a Registered Manager you will make sure that the home environment can support this by ensuring both your staff and the young people feel secure, safe and motivated. Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. This is all made possible because our service is holistic and touches on every aspect of our young people’s developmental needs. From our Psychologists and Occupational Therapists to many other clinical team members who feed into the overall picture we achieve positive outcomes by having the most joined-up service in SEND.

Salary: Base salary of £54,997 - £68,441

Bonuses: Bonus of 10% of salary reviewed annually, £2,500 on call bonus (approx. 10 weekends per year) and Attendance allowance £1,400

You also receive along-term incentive plan– a bonus of 30% of salary accrued each year and paid as a future lump sum
