Are you an experienced Children’s Home Manager, eager to apply your knowledge and skills in a unique setting? The Deaf Academy has an exciting opportunity as Registered Manager for our beautiful four-bedroom home in Exmouth, which specialises in supporting Deaf young people. You will be a proven leader of a team of Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders, providing warm and nurturing care for Deaf children with additional and complex needs. Join our campus comprising of School, College, Residential Care, Adult Residential Care, and a Children’s Home.
As a middle leader, you’ll be part of a network of professionals to work alongside and draw support from, including corporate, education, welfare, and therapy teams. You’ll also be part of a supportive and fun Care Leadership Team across our other areas of provision. As a charity, we have a distinctive ethos.
You will have a keen eye for detail, a passionate approach to care, and a solution-focused mindset. Creativity and a hands-on attitude are essential to transform the lives of children and young people within the home.
