Job description

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Crystal Care Solutions who are offering a permanent position for the right candidate.

We are looking for a Registered Manager (Off shift). The role will be in Oswestry, SY11 - 3 BED EBD home.

Salary and OTE

• Base salary: £52,650.00 per year.
• OTE up to an extra £9,000 in bonuses based on staff retention, Ofsted rating and longevity as Manager.
• Estimated total OTE: £61,650.00.
• Commitment for a £5,000 increase on the base rate after 5 years of service, raising the range to £57,650 – £66,650.

Hours

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Required to be part of RM on‑call duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of running the home, ensuring that Children and Young People have their needs met and that the home meets the standards set out in the Statement of Purpose.
• Ensure each young person has a plan reflecting their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs.
• Ensure that the placement plan is regularly reviewed.
• Allocate a Key Worker for each young person with the principal responsibility of implementing the childcare plan.
• Ensure that staffing levels and competence meet the needs of the home.
• Manage the budgets effectively and monitor the use of all finances.
• Respond to and manage any issues relating to conduct and competence of staff, including completion of fact finds, disciplinary and grievance hearings, appeals and other employment law processes.
• Attend all mandatory training events in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company policy.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Driving Licence and be able to carry out driving duties to meet the needs of the children and young people.

• Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in supervisory or management within residential childcare.
