Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

Location : Harlow, Essex

Salary : Up to £45,000 depending on experience

Are you a passionate, experienced care professional ready to take on a rewarding leadership role? We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead a brand new care service, ensuring outstanding care delivery, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service, leading a dedicated team, and driving continuous improvements to provide the highest standards of care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, person-centred, and committed to excellence in care provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of Caregivers and Senior Caregivers.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and local authority requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisals to build and retain a strong workforce.
  • Drive quality assurance through audits, spot checks, and action plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including local councils and safeguarding teams.
  • Manage budgets effectively while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Promote a positive culture that values dignity, independence, and respect for every client.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role within adult care services.
  • Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Essential Standards, and CQC regulations.
  • A proven ability to manage and develop staff teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and delivering truly person-centred care.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
