About Us

Our client is passionate about helping children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) live happy safe and fulfilling lives.

They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered childrens home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to 18 years old and they are looking for a Registered Manager to lead the home shape its culture and inspire a brand-new team.

The Role

As the Registered Manager you will take full responsibility for the homes operations quality and compliance. You will create a nurturing supportive environment where every young person feels safe valued and empowered to reach their potential.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the childrens home ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Recruit train and inspire your staff team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
  • Develop individual care plans tailored to each childs unique needs and goals.
  • Promote safeguarding emotional well‑being and positive outcomes for all residents.
  • Work closely with families local authorities and other professionals to ensure joined‑up support.
  • Manage budgets oversee audits and drive continuous improvement across the service.
About You
  • We're looking for someone passionate dedicated and ready to make a real difference.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a childrens residential setting.

  • Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred).
