Job Title: Registered Learning Disability Staff Nurse (RNLD)

Location: Peaceful countryside setting in Lincolnshire, approximately 10 miles from Gainsborough

Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £36,176 – £38,596 per annum + £3000 Welcome Bonus

Overview

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our client’s supportive team at a 28-bed forensic low secure hospital. The facility is divided into two specialised 14-bed wards: an acute admissions ward and a rehabilitation ward focused on community reintegration. The service provides essential care and support for male patients detained under the Mental Health Act, who are experiencing mental illness and personality disorders.

Role Description

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include promoting the best interests of the clients and carers, ensuring the effective implementation of prescribed nursing care, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. You will be expected to exercise professional accountability, adapting your skills and expertise to meet the demands of changing environments, all while working within the scope of professional practice.

Requirements

• Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience.
