Job summary

Skybound Therapies Ltd in Pembrokeshire is seeking a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will bridge physical health, mental well-being, and behavioural support, empowering clients and families through person-centred care.

The role involves health assessments, desensitisation plans, and collaboration with OT, Behaviour analysts, and other specialists, using PBS/ABA principles to improve outcomes. Full-time, driving requirement across the region.

Qualifications

• Active RNLD registration with the NMC.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
• Knowledge of health management, medication administration, health desensitisation, and health action planning.
• Collaborative, evidence-based practitioner in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
• Design and deliver health desensitisation plans for healthcare access.
• Collaborate with OT, Behaviour Consultants, and Behaviour Support Workers.
• Apply PBS/ABA principles to support behaviour as communication.
• Coach and support families, school staff, and care teams.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation per NMC/CIW standards.
