Qualifications

Job description

We're opening a new 4-bed trauma-informed children's home in Pleasley - and we need an exceptional Registered Manager to shape its future. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to create a safe, nurturing environment where young lives can thrive.

As Registered Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day running of our new 4-bed trauma-informed children's home in Pleasley. Your role will include:

  • Leadership & Culture: Recruit, develop, and inspire a team committed to therapeutic care. Create a culture of empathy, accountability, and emotional resilience.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards, safeguarding requirements, and all regulatory frameworks. Maintain a strong track record of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Child-Centred Outcomes: Drive care plans that prioritise stability, well-being, and long-term positive outcomes for children who have experienced trauma.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively. Use data and reflective practice to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Partnership Working: Collaborate with the Responsible Individual, local authorities, and external professionals to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
  • Innovation & Development: Contribute to shaping Homes2Inspire's future by embedding best practice and supporting service development.
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a children's home
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
  • Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing
