Avon Search is partnering with a care provider to recruit a Registered Home Manager for their 40-bed residential facility near Whitstable. You will lead the team with a people-first approach, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care and strong occupancy.

You will bring senior leadership experience in elderly care, governance and budget management, and a track record of developing staff and delivering outstanding service in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Senior leadersh ip experience in managing a residential care setting (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to build on an already successful service with an excellent reputation.
• Hold relevant qualifications in health/social care; leadership and management qualifications desirable.
• Strong understanding of CI compliance, inspections, governance and best practice with regulatory frameworks.

Vacancy - Registered Home Manager (AV2024)

Location - Whitstable

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Avon Search and Selection are excited to be working with a Care provider of choice to help them source a Registered Home Manager to lead the team at their fabulous 40 bedded residential care facility near Whitstable. The company provides luxurious facilities and the highest levels of care for its clients.

About You

You're a confident, compassionate leader who combines operational grip with a people-first approach. You will have a strong background in elderly care, be quality-driven, commercially aware and passionate about delivering an outstanding service to our customers.

• Senior leadership experience in managing a residential care setting (minimum of 2 years working as a residential care manager).


• The ability to build on an already successful service with an excellent reputation and move on to the next level.


• Hold relevant qualifications in health/social care. A recognised leadership and management qualification is desirable.


• Strong understanding of CI compliance, inspections, and governance with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice.


• Proven track record of leading, developing and retaining staff teams with the ability to develop staff culture.


• Experience working with Local Authorities/Commissioners and key partners.


• Commercial awareness: confident managing budgets, resources and performance.


• A clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice.
