Job description

We are seeking to recruit a Registered General Nurse to work with our dedicated and skilled team caring for up to 36 elderly residents.

Valid PIN, Right to Work in the UK and experience of working in a nursing home environment essential.

Responsibilities will include:

• Administering medication
• Supervising and working with care staff in the delivery of care
• Up to date nursing skills: wound dressings, catheterisation, PEG feeding care, use of syringe drivers, venepuncture
• Reviewing care plans and risk assessments
• Reporting to and working with the Registered Manager to provide oversight of care
• Making decisions about resident care needs and accessing services when required

Shift Times: 7.15am to 2.30pm (Early) and 2.15pm to 9.15pm (Late). A willingness to cover night shifts due to annual leave or sickness would be very helpful.
