A major healthcare provider in Glasgow is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse to work within their Occupational Health Service. The role requires a motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include health screenings, immunizations, and promoting a positive culture of well-being. Candidates must hold a valid NMC UK pin and have 2 years of post-registration experience.

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to work within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Occupational Health Service. The post holder should have a desire to work within this specialist field and have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience.
The post holder will work as a key member of the existing Occupational Health Nursing and multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive Occupational Health Service for all NHS GG&C employees and external organisations at a time growth and development. The role will involve provision of a diverse range of Occupational Health services including pre‑employment health screening, immunisation clinics, venepuncture, health surveillance programmes and management of blood borne virus exposures. You will provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on all aspects of health and work and will be instrumental in promoting a positive culture of general and mental health and wellbeing whilst identifying opportunities for health promotion.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive and enthusiastic approach. You should have excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a larger multidisciplinary team. Demonstrating adaptability to the diverse and variable demands upon our service. Previous experience of venepuncture and immunisations is desirable however training will be provided. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
