Job summary

Sirona Medical Limited is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our Gloucester team on a full-time or ad-hoc basis. The role involves delivering high standards of patient care across age groups in Gloucestershire, with responsibilities spanning medical, surgical, psychiatric, and palliative settings.

Applicants should be competent in venepuncture, cannulation, ECG, and IV drug administration, and must meet NHS compliance and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NHS experience preferred.
• Competent in venepuncture, cannulation, ECG, and IV drug administration.
• Ability to apply evidence-based nursing practice across medical, surgical, psychiatric, or palliative care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across all ages.
• Demonstrate evidence-based nursing practice in routine care.
• Undertake extended nursing skills as required (venepuncture, cannulation, ECG, IV drugs).
• May serve as link nurse for nutrition or tissue viability as needed.

Pay: £25.00 - £40.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse / RGN Will participate in all aspects of patient care, enabling the highest standards of care to be provided for patients of all ages.

The Registered Nurse / RGN will demonstrate evidence based nursing practice when caring for patients with conditions, which may be surgical, Medical, Psychiatric, or pallative care.

The Registered Nurse / RGN is required to be competent in extended nursing skills e.g. Venepuncture, Canulation, ECG and IV Drug administration.

The Registered Nurse / RGN may undertake the role of link nurse e.g. nutritional link nurse role, tissue viability link nurse role.
