Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Registered Nurse to join a care home in Downham Market, Norfolk. The role offers day and night shifts with a competitive hourly rate of £22.50, up to £56,160 yearly.

You will provide nursing and dementia care in line with NMC guidelines, working with residents, families and multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate will hold an active NMC Pin, have strong empathy, and a can-do attitude, with excellent time management and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
• 1+ year NMC registration
• Experience in a care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and prioritise care.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC guidelines and policy.
• Ensure care plans are completed with residents and families and other professionals
• Report ill-health and arrange GP/professional visits as needed

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company's medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• A good team player
• 1+ year NMC registration
