Overview

Make a move to our paediatric unit to make a difference using your clinical knowledge to enhance the experience of children, young people and families. Here at Gloucester, we have exciting opportunities for Registered Children Nurses. As a staff nurse on paediatrics you will be expected to deliver compassionate, safe, high quality care for children of all ages within our large unit. Our service covers specialist inpatient services such as paediatric oncology, paediatric critical care level 2, paediatric surgery and a paediatric assessment unit as well as an extensive children’s outpatient service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate, safe, high quality care for children of all ages within our large unit.
  • Provide specialist inpatient services including paediatric oncology, paediatric critical care level 2, paediatric surgery, paediatric assessment unit and children’s outpatient service.
  • Problem solve and prioritise during periods of pressure.
  • Work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to deliver and supervise patient care, ensuring assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of a high standard of care.
  • Deliver safe, patient and family centred care within a challenging and changing clinical environment.
