Job summary

Furze Hill House Care Home in Norfolk, England, seeks a Registered Care Manager to lead a dedicated team in a faith-driven, person-centred environment. The home provides a loving, supportive setting for 40 residents, upholding Christian ethos and values.

You will manage care plans, budgets, and staff development, ensuring high-quality care, engagement with the church community, and effective handling of resident concerns. Salary £49,000–£52,000, full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a residential care home or similar setting.
• Health & Social Care Level 3+ qualification.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Passion for person-centred care of older people.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• IT proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality care in line with policies and Christian values.
• Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well-trained and motivated;
• Oversee the development and implementation of care plans.
• Responsible for the home's budget, in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team.
• Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy.
• Engage with local church and community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available.
• Uphold the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example.

We're searching for a proactive and dedicated Registered Care Manager to lead our committed care team. Our amazing team at Furze Hill House Care Home provide a loving and caring environment for our residents, whilst maintaining the Christian ethos that is so important to them. • Ensure high-quality care in line with our policies and Christian values;

• Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy;
• Engage with local church and community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available;
• Uphold the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example.

What You'll Bring:

• Management experience in a residential care home or similar setting;
• Qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above);
• Strong leadership and people management skills;
• A passion for person-centred care and working with older people;
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities;
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend, bank holiday, and on-call cover as required.
