Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Compliance: Hold CQC registration for the service and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
  • Branch Management: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining profitability and compliance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and support care teams to uphold high standards of performance and care.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality monitoring systems and lead service improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding care outcomes.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain excellent communication with service users, their families, and external professionals to ensure person‑centred care at all times.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage rotas, monitor performance, investigate complaints, and ensure all records and reports are completed accurately.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for service growth and build strong partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
  • Emergency Support: Provide on‑call support and deliver hands‑on care in exceptional circumstances to maintain service continuity.
What We're Looking For
  • Experienced Leader: Proven management or supervisory experience within domiciliary or residential care.
  • Qualified Professional: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership & Management (desirable or working towards).
  • Strong Organiser: Excellent planning, rota management, and multitasking skills.
  • Inspiring Manager: Confident in motivating and developing staff to achieve service excellence.
  • Flexible & Reliable: Willingness to work flexibly, including on‑call duties and occasional weekends.
  • Compliant & Safe: In‑depth understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.
  • Driver: Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance are required.
