Ward 230 are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative, band 5 staff nurses to join our team.

We are a 36 bedded ward specialising in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

We have a workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care and developing skills and leadership within the nursing team.

Our Clinical Educator for Gastroenterology will support you fully in developing the skills required in this speciality, in addition to the rest of the team who will offer you excellent support and training.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for assessing and caring for patients and providing an effective care pathway specific to the individual needs of the patient.

Main duties will include caring for the acutely unwell patient and utilising essential skills to the role such as venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation, drug administration including blood products.
