Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President of Cyber Security for the UK & Ireland region. The role partners with business, technology, risk, and compliance to shape regional cyber priorities and drive practical security improvements aligned with local regulatory expectations and client commitments.

You will translate complex risk into actionable decisions for senior stakeholders, lead regulatory readiness, and influence cross-functional teams to strengthen cyber resilience across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the regional point of orchestration for cross-functional cyber activities, ensuring priorities are understood and progressed to measurable outcomes.
• Provide senior cyber advisory and constructive challenge to business and technology teams to support regional objectives.
• Lead or contribute to regulatory alignment activities including impact assessments, evidence reviews, and remediation tracking for the region.
• Prepare clear briefings, papers, risk narratives, and executive updates for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Translate security insights into practical remediation plans that reduce risk exposure and improve cyber processes.
