About the Role

Glean is seeking a RVP Sales, EMEA to be the sales leader covering one or more countries, reporting to the VP of EMEA Sales. You will own the go‑to‑market strategy, revenue attainment, and team leadership, driving new business growth and customer expansion across the region. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role for a proven sales executive who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments and is passionate about building and scaling world‑class teams.

Responsibilities
  • Team Building & Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high‑performing, diverse sales organization, including first‑line managers, Account Executives (AEs), and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across multiple segments (Strategic, Enterprise, Commercial).
  • Operational Excellence: Drive sales rigor and discipline through regular deal reviews, pipeline inspection, QBRs, and adherence to Glean's sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message). Ensure data hygiene and process compliance in Salesforce.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Develop and execute regional GTM plans, including territory design, segmentation, and coverage models. Partner with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Partnerships to drive demand generation and customer success.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain executive relationships with key customers and prospects. Act as an executive sponsor for strategic deals and renewals, ensuring customer value realization and advocacy.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to align on product roadmap, enablement, and regional requirements (e.g., data privacy, localization).
  • Partner Ecosystem: Collaborate with the EMEA Partnerships team to drive co‑sell motions, channel sales, and joint GTM initiatives with VARs, GSIs, and cloud partners.
  • Change Management: Lead through change, fostering resilience, transparency, and a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Culture & Values: Champion Glean's cultural values, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑integrity environment where people can do their best work.
  • Regional Sales Leadership: Own and deliver new business and expansion ARR targets, pipeline generation, and forecast accuracy. Set and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with global GTM priorities.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in data, cloud, or SaaS space.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales teams in high‑growth, enterprise software environments.
  • Deep understanding of the market landscape, including regional nuances, languages, and business practices.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent; strong coaching and mentorship skills.
  • Operationally rigorous, with expertise in sales process, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Command of the Message).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically; comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; able to build trust with C‑level customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
  • Passion for AI, digital transformation, and helping customers achieve extraordinary outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA as needed.
