Position Summary

The Regional Vice President of Operations (RVP) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of Thrive's managed services delivery process and senior engineering within the specified region. This includes direct supervisory management of Thrive’s Senior Engineering teams in the UK. The RVP ensures that the regional service delivery team meets or exceeds all performance metrics and service level agreements for managed services clients.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Motivate and coach management and individual contributors within the service delivery region.
2. Ensure that the service delivery team meets performance metrics for Thrive’s managed services products and SLAs.
3. Maintain work plans to ensure goals are met and improvements are implemented.
4. Oversee inbound client support calls for specific managed service products and high-profile clients when necessary.
5. Conduct annual performance appraisals for Regional Service Delivery and Senior Engineering Directors.
6. Manage ongoing audits of managed services platforms to ensure client configurations meet Thrive standards.
7. Uphold procedural requirements around prioritization, communication, documentation, and escalations.
8. Follow up with customers to identify areas for improvement and relay feedback internally.
9. Identify and improve inefficient processes and functions.
10. Collaborate with account management teams to ensure high client satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
11. Serve as an escalation point for service delivery issues.
12. Adjust priorities and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
13. Coordinate with Remote and Field Support teams for efficient workflows.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 7-10 years of managerial experience, with managed services experience essential.
3. Technical SME on MSP products related to Thrive’s service catalog.
4. Experience managing complex projects, clients, partners, and organizations.
5. ITIL certification and practice preferred.
6. Proven experience managing remote resources and large teams.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
