The Technical Sales Director within the Siemens Energy Compression business is a key technical sales leadership function responsible for driving sales and solution development. Your mission is to demonstrate Siemens Energy's superior value proposition by understanding client needs, presenting proven technical solutions, and providing concise technical responses. You will partner with Sales and Proposal Managers to build the sales pipeline and collaborate with global engineering and operations teams on technical intricacies. Site visits will be required for technical discussions, document reviews, spare parts verification, field data acquisition and analysis, and joint troubleshooting with on-site engineers. Your primary objective is to establish strong teamwork with engineering counterparts at both operational and strategic levels.
You will be responsible for achieving segment sales targets and growth objectives alongside a high-performing regional sales team while identifying new business opportunities and developing technical solutions with key customers.
This role requires close partnerships with our customer relationship team and positions you as the technical expert in the region driving sales growth. You will create and develop regional service and aftermarket solutions across Europe & Africa regional organisation, while also working in close collaboration with our global operations teams located in the Americas, Africa, Middle East, & Asia Pacific to deliver order entry growth & operational excellence.
This role reports directly to the Global Head of Sales and Bid Management for the Siemens Energy segment business.
