Job summary

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Tax to lead their tax function across the UK, Africa, Middle East, and selected European territories. This role involves shaping tax planning initiatives, managing compliance, and working closely with commercial teams. Candidates should have strong UK and International tax backgrounds along with leadership skills. Office presence in Surrey is expected 3-4 days a week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tax planning and compliance for UK and international environments.
• Experience in leading tax functions and managing a team.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including finance and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver tax planning for new projects.
• Partner with commercial and finance teams on transactions.
• Manage tax audits and relationships with local authorities.
• Oversee Transfer Pricing compliance and documentation.
• Ensure all compliance and reporting deadlines are met.
