Job summary

My client is seeking a Regional SHEQ Manager to lead health, safety and quality initiatives from its Greater Manchester office. You will report to the Head of SHEQ and cover the north of England with extensive travel.

The role requires a proven track record in a similar SHEQ position, with NEBOSH General Certificate and strong knowledge of FM, maintenance and construction sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a regional SHEQ/Health & Safety role.
• Experience across FM, maintenance and construction industries.
• Ability to design, develop and rollout in-house SHEQ training.

Responsibilities

• Implement group SHEQ policy across the business.
• Roll out all SHEQ training in-house.
• Travel across the north of England to oversee sites.

Job description

My client is an established Maintenance and Construction Service Provider with an impressive track record of clients around the UK. It is looking to hire a Regional SHEQ Manager from its office in Greater Manchester.

As the Regional SHEQ Manager you will report directly into the Head of SHEQ and your remit will be the north of England, so plenty of travel will be involved. You will work across the Maintenance and Construction sides of the business implementing group SHEQ policy, designing, developing and rolling out all SHEQ in-house training.

The successful Regional SHEQ Manager must have a proven track record in a similar role and be familiar with working across different sectors that include private, commercial, public, government and manufacturing. In addition, you must also hold NEBOSH general cert and have a good understanding of the FM / Maintenance and Construction industries.
