Regional Sales Manager - Utilities & Connections (North Region)

Location: North of England (Home/Field Based)
Salary: 55,000- 80,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We're working with a well-established multi-utility connections provider with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality solutions across electricity, gas, telecoms, and water infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business development and account growth across the North of England.

The Role

This is a key commercial position responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the delivery of complex projects across multiple utility sectors. Working closely with internal technical and tendering teams, you'll play a central role in achieving business targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business growth by converting enquiries into confirmed opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve or exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and manage relationships with key regional clients and partners
  • Collaborate with technical and tendering teams to deliver accurate and competitive proposals
  • Monitor market activity, competitor performance, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the business at regional and national industry events
About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Background in utility connections, energy, or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop long-term client partnerships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Desirable:

  • Professional Sales or Management qualification
  • Marketing experience or formal training
