Job summary

A leading global spirits company in Greater London is seeking a Regional Sales Manager EMEA to manage and develop business with key travel retail customers across Europe. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Regional Sales or account management, preferably in the Travel Retail sector. Responsibilities include developing brands, leading negotiations, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring alignment with global strategies. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus. Travel is a key component of the role.

About the team

This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships and border shops around the globe. The mission of the Regional Sales Manager EMEA is to manage and develop the company’s business with key travel retail customers in Europe, ensuring brand building, value delivery and share gain in accordance with Global Travel Retail strategy. As one of three Regional Sales Managers, reporting to the Commercial Director of the Europe Regional Hub, this role will work in coordination with other regions to ensure the development of the business with key global customers.

Your unique contribution

You will have these main responsibilities:

  • Develop Pernod Ricard brands in the key accounts in line with global strategy
  • Ensure portfolio strategy to match shopper profile
  • Keep constant conversation with customers to develop strong customer relations
  • Exploit digital opportunity to reach the final consumer
  • Lead global annual negotiations with key accounts
  • Regular analysis of performance and constant scouting for areas of opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activity to prepare reaction plans
  • Co-ordinate effective use of Pernod Ricard resources in Operations, Finance, IT etc.
  • Full volume and P&L monitoring for own customers
  • Contribute to deliver results for TR Europe and full GTR
  • Provide budgets and re-forecasts in line with corporate calendar
  • Lead, develop and motivate your direct reports to build a high performing commercial team
  • Take a leadership role in developing a positive team culture
  • Due to nature of the position a certain amount of travel is required

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll work with Customer Marketing, Finance and Operations teams. Externally, your contacts will be customer(s), promotion agencies (as required), airport/shipping/border store locations contacts

What you need

  • Bring solid experience in Regional Sales or account management, preferably in the Travel Retail business
  • Have strong written and oral communication as well as People Management skills
  • Are fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
  • Have experience in the Spirits industry is a plus
