Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an Area Relief Retail Security Officer to cover the Gloucestershire cluster, including Gloucester and Cirencester. You will travel between sites, providing reliable security support and acting as a trusted member of the regional team.

We are looking for a reliable and professional Area Relief Security Officer to support our retail locations across the Gloucestershire cluster, including Gloucester and Cirencester.

This is a varied role where you will be expected to travel between different areas within the cluster, providing professional security support where required and becoming a trusted member of the wider regional team.

About The Role

As an Area Relief Officer, you won't be permanently based at one location. You will work across multiple locations within the Gloucestershire cluster, providing reliable security cover and supporting different teams depending on operational requirements.

You may be required to work across Gloucester, Cirencester and surrounding areas, so the ability and willingness to travel throughout the cluster is an essential part of the position.

This role would suit an officer who enjoys variety, is comfortable adapting to different sites and takes pride in being someone the wider team can rely upon.

Your Responsibilities

Providing a visible and professional security presence

Supporting multiple retail locations across the Gloucestershire area

Travelling between different locations when required

Preventing and deterring theft and criminal activity

Responding professionally to incidents

Supporting store management and colleagues

Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Adapting quickly to different sites, teams and working environments

Providing reliable relief and operational support across the cluster
