Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Nurse (RGN/RMN). You will travel across your region to lead a multi-disciplinary team and ensure high-quality care for residents at every location. You’ll develop personalised care plans and support team development.

As a Peripatetic Nurse, you’ll have autonomy and be valued for your clinical and people-skills, with a focus on safe medication practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification is desirable.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks.

About You

To join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is important, as is a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. We'll also look for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated and ambitious, you'll be able to lead by example your can-do approach and excellent communication skills will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
