Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions is hiring a Regional Pump Engineer to service and repair a wide range of pump equipment from a depot. You will respond to breakdowns at customer sites and perform preventive maintenance to keep our fleet reliable.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, knowledge of diesel engines and pumps, and a valid driving licence. Training will be provided, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pump engineer or similar role (mechanical fitter/diesel technician).
• Knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, hoses or generators; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment in the depot.
• Attend breakdowns at customer sites.
• Identify and repair faults or damage to pumps, hoses and generators.
• Update service records accurately.
