Job summary

Service Care is seeking an experienced Regional Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy property maintenance team. The role covers Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, performing a mix of domestic and commercial plumbing repairs.

You will handle sanitaryware installation, first and second-fix pipework and PPM, with a focus on first-time repair. A valid UK driving licence is essential, with 40-hour weeks in a permanent, full-time contract and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years' experience in building maintenance and/or an educational environment.
Strong practical plumbing skills across domestic and commercial properties.
Experience of sanitaryware installation, first and second-fix pipework, servicing and reactive repairs.
Full, current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults and multi-trade repair requests.
Carry out a wide range of domestic and commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance.
Install and repair sanitaryware.
Undertake first and second-fix pipework.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs, aiming for a first-time fix.
Respond promptly to emergency repairs and participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
