Job summary

NG Bailey is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join the regional leadership team in Manchester. The role leads the planning function across multiple engineering and construction projects, ensuring robust processes from bid to completion and optimal resource allocation.

You will work closely with Operations, Commercial and Project Delivery teams to drive continuous improvement in planning, controls and performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in project planning or controls.
• Experience managing planning for complex engineering/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts or standard forms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning leadership across a portfolio of complex projects.
• Lead the regional planning team to support delivery and controls.
• Ensure robust planning processes from bid stage through completion.
