Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Regional Planning Lead to coordinate planning activities across the SP Manweb region. You will oversee a team of Planners, ensuring accurate progress reporting and the delivery of the 132kV programme in line with governance standards.

The role requires an engineering/planning degree or equivalent, with extensive Primavera P6/MSPe experience and strong stakeholder management skills. A competitive salary and generous benefits package accompany this permanent position.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Planning degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience programming Electrical infrastructure projects.
• Project Management methodology experience or qualifications.
• Strong background in stakeholder management, communication and reporting.
• Extensive Primavera P6/MSPe experience.
• Awareness of procurement processes and NEC/D&C/FIDIC contracts.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation (CDM) for construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Planners and oversee planning activities within the SP Manweb region.
• Deliver reporting metrics for tracking progress of the SPM 132kV business plan.
• Manage milestone/baseline variance and project reporting in cross-functional meetings.
• Promote stakeholder engagement and collaborate with PMO, Design, Construction, Quality, Environmental, and Control Room teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing robust planning processes and lessons learned.
