Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Regional Occupational Therapist to join our Learning Disability and Autism division, covering up to four services across Yorkshire & Humber, the Midlands, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. You will remotely manage workloads with regular site visits.

You will deliver assessments, provide specialist OT input, produce reports, and lead on risk assessments while travelling between sites. A full UK driving licence and car allowance accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration and licence to practise.
• Experience delivering OT assessments and interventions.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills; ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Clinical reasoning and problem-solving to support learning disabilities and autism.
• Passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
• Provide specialist OT advice, recommendations and clinical guidance.
• Produce professional reports, assessments and documentation.
• Complete risk assessments and develop protocols relating to equipment and activities.
• Support service managers and multidisciplinary teams with OT input.
• Deliver training and education to staff teams to promote best practice.
• Recommend aids, adaptations and healthcare interventions where required.
• Contribute to service development and enhancement of OT provision.
• Manage workload and work autonomously across multiple services.
