Our client is a well-known distributor of dangerous goods with a vast network across the UK. You will be responsible for leading teams across multiple sites and will report into the Head of operations for the UK.

As Regional Operations Manager - Dangerous Goods, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory compliance, internal audits, maintenance programs, and product quality
  • Effective management across all sites through engagement and communication with staff and customers
  • Drives productivity, data analysis, and decision-making to reduce lost productivity and under performance
  • Overall freight budget and decision making, utilising performance data to achieve KPIs and support business growth.
  • Team recruitment, retention, development and training

Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements:

  • Hold recent Certificate of Professional competence in National Road Haulage Operations - Essential
  • Demonstrable experience of managing transport operations and dangerous goods operations - Essential
  • Previous experience of Airside Operations - Advantageous
  • Experience with modern vehicle technologies - Essential
  • Ability to demonstrate influential communication skills - Essential
  • High level of computer literacy and data analysis skills - Essential
