JOB DESCRIPTION

When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. How you create impact
  • Manage global and regional rate tables, including PFAs, GRT updates, fuel floaters, interim rate requests, new trade lanes/equipment submissions, and distribution to finance and operations teams.
  • Monitor inbound/outbound DQ and ensure 100% compliance across KPIs, including on‑time pick‑up/delivery, lead time adherence, status timeliness/completeness, NCRs, temperature readouts, and CAPA closure.
  • Support resolution of finance issues, drive escalations where required, collaborate with KN Integrated Logistics and Road Logistics finance teams, and attend weekly finance review calls.
  • Lead Monthly Operational Reviews (MORs), support and attend QBRs/ABRs, maintain escalation matrices and TEAMsite data, and collaborate closely with GKAMs and KN IL/LCC stakeholders.
  • Support implementation of new lanes and product launches by ensuring rates, LRAs, SOPs, training, and full operational compliance are in place.
  • Drive cost and process improvement initiatives through ideation, data analysis, business case development, implementation, and savings measurement in collaboration with CI excellence teams.
  • Produce and present operational and performance reports, dashboards, and analysis to support MORs, internal reviews, and customer‑facing discussions.
  • Maintain and update SOPs/working instructions, support audits and CAPA completion, liaise with Supply Chain Integrity teams, and escalate operational or commercial risks while identifying business opportunities.
