In this role you will manage the property life-cycle strategy and activities within the regional office estate, ensuring that the shape of the regional office estate meets the occupation and usage requirements for Business Units and is consistent with the BT Property strategy across the UK.
Lead and coordinate a diverse range of property and workplace projects, including office refurbishments, relocations, fit-outs, closures, occupancy changes and workplace improvements.
Partner with internal stakeholders, occupiers and external suppliers to develop and deliver workplace solutions that enhance colleague experience and support business objectives.
Provide strategic advice and subject matter expertise on workplace, property and estate planning activities, ensuring projects are commercially viable and aligned to wider business priorities.
Manage property lifecycle activities across the regional office estate, helping to shape the future workplace strategy and optimise office space utilisation.
Use data, insight and occupancy trends to support decision-making, identify opportunities and inform long-term estate planning.
Drive the delivery of workplace initiatives that reflect industry best practice, emerging workplace trends and evolving business requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and deliver financial benefits across the property portfolio.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective communication, collaboration and successful project delivery.
Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and priorities, managing risks, dependencies and timelines to achieve successful outcomes.
Support the development and implementation of workplace design standards, helping to create modern, flexible and engaging working environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders, from senior leaders to office occupiers, ensuring business requirements are understood and successfully delivered.
Proven project management experience, coordinating multiple concurrent projects, people and activities across a complex property or workplace environment while delivering to agreed timescales and objectives.
Experience leading workplace change, office moves, fit-out, redesign or estate transformation projects, including requirements gathering, feasibility assessments and project delivery.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate across multiple teams and deliver successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of workplace strategy, office estate management or property lifecycle planning across a multi-site portfolio.
Experience using data, insights and technology to support decision making, space planning and workplace strategy development.
Understanding of workplace design principles, colleague experience and emerging workplace trends.
Experience working within commercial property, facilities management, retail, construction, fit-out or other occupied-space environments.
Knowledge of workplace change management methodologies, tools and best practices.
Understanding of UK property markets, property transactions or property law.
APM, RICS or other relevant property, workplace or project management qualification.
Degree qualified in a property-related, construction, project management or similar discipline.
Willingness to travel across the North East of England and Scotland to support stakeholders, projects and office locations.
