Marketing Manager – Library Markets (EMENA B2B)

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join the EMENA B2B planning team as a Marketing Manager responsible for Library markets. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role is responsible for planning campaigns to generate customer demand and achieve commercial growth targets within Europe for both open access solutions and pay-to-read journal content. As part of the library team you will also have responsibility for developing a marketing strategy to increase engagement and affinity with Taylor & Francis across the wider EMENA market.

You will brief in-house performance marketing teams so that they can deliver multi‑channel marketing campaigns throughout the marketing funnel that achieve measurable goals within budget. You will also work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure a good quality pipeline of leads is handed over and to support customer success activity.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct customer, market and portfolio analysis to identify opportunities and priorities
  • Scope, define and brief marketing plans for B2B customers ensuring they address needs and opportunities with the region
  • Manage budget, ensuring investment is placed in high value/return areas
  • Monitor, analyse and report on results using OKRs
  • Work with colleagues to develop an EMENA‑wide marketing strategy that includes content development to engage customers and communicate value proposition
  • Build effective working relationships with all colleagues through reliable communication
  • Document and share learnings that feed into future plans and support learning across the team and marketing department
In order to be successful in this role you will:
  • Have the ability to analyse information and data to ensure a well‑executed regional marketing strategy is in place
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire others toward a common vision or goal
  • Be a results‑oriented and independent marketer who can think outside the box, using their own initiative to achieve a set of results
  • Have a demonstrated ability to drive a well‑executed integrated marketing programme
  • Have a commercial mindset and understand the need to align the marketing strategy with the sales/commercial objectives/needs (e.g. understanding the pipeline value of a set of leads)
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to successfully influence and work in a matrix‑environment
  • Have strong interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills
  • Be comfortable adopting various roles within a team to provide project support and leadership as required
