A healthcare service provider is seeking a Regional Manager for Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transport in South Wales. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function. A vacancy is based in South Wales, specifically a Regional Manager Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport (Fleet).
The combined services of Supply Chain & Health Courier Services distribute and transport approximately 50 million items across Wales per year, both clinical and non‑clinical. On average the service sorts, delivers and collects up to 120,000 items of mail or medical notes per week, and transports over 8 million clinical movements of samples of blood, blood products, pathology and pharmacy, in accordance with Transport of Dangerous Goods legislative requirements each year.
