Job Introduction

Landmarc is seeking a highly motivated Regional Maintenance Manager to lead planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance delivery across the East area. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure maintenance activities are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in compliance with statutory regulations.

Travel required: This regional role will require travel within the East region to include sites in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Northamptonshire.

Main Responsibilities
Team & Performance Management
  • Lead and manage Maintenance Teams across the region ensuring high standards of performance, attendance, and H&S compliance
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to the team to drive efficiency and best practice
Maintenance Operations
  • Plan and oversee maintenance tasks in line with the Establishment Specific Task Schedule (ESTS)
  • Ensure remedial and reactive maintenance tasks are completed within contractual timeframes
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including in-house teams and external contractor
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations including CDM, Building Regulations, Fire Safety, Equality Act, Planning & Environmental Guidance
  • Manage contractors, drive continuous improvement, and promote environmental best practices
  • Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records, utilising both IT and paper-based systems
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance delivery.
  • Provide technical and specialist advice to local and regional support teams
Project & Budget Management
  • Write contract specifications, evaluate quotations, and manage small contractor-led jobs
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and potential income‑generating projects
  • Oversee additional works from the Forward Additional Services Plan and contribute to the Billable Works Register
The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong technical background working in a high paced Hard FM environment, with knowledge of industry standards for building maintenance such as SFG20
  • Core technical Level 4 qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ/HND in B&CE or M&E trade) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in people management and workforce planning
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work to NEBOSH level
  • Experience in workload scheduling, contract management, and customer communication
  • Excellent IT skills, including CAFM (Maximo) and Microsoft systems.
  • Commercially astute with ability to manage contracts and budgets efficiently
  • Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to travel across the region to support operations
  • Willingness to be on call
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
