Job summary

Atos seeks a Regional Lead Agentic Architect to design and optimize production-grade agentic solutions across UK deployments, ensuring scalability, safety, and performance. The role shapes enterprise-level agent design and governance within a sovereign, regulated context.

You will work at the forefront of AI and automation, building reusable solutions and contributing to the future of service delivery at Atos in a national scope.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years in architecture roles (solution, systems, or platform architecture).
• Deep understanding of agentic AI architectures and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, and workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and operational requirements into agentic system designs.
• Guide teams in moving from consumer-grade to production-grade agent design.
• Review and optimize agent workflows, decision logic, and system interactions.
• Ensure compliance with platform architecture, governance, and security standards.
• Act as a regional SME and escalation point for complex agent design challenges.
• Collaborate with central platform and governance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and operational requirements into agentic system designs
• Guide teams in moving from consumer-grade to production-grade agent design
• Review and optimize agent workflows, decision logic, and system interactions
• Ensure compliance with platform architecture, governance, and security standards
• Act as a regional SME and escalation point for complex agent design challenges
• Collaborate with central platform and governance teams

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of agentic AI architectures and frameworks
• Strong knowledge of system design, APIs, and workflow orchestration
• Ability to assess trade-offs (autonomy vs control, cost vs performance, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with tools like LangGraph, n8n, orchestration frameworks
• Knowledge of AI observability and evaluation frameworks
• Experience in sovereign or restricted deployment environments
• Background in ITSM or managed services automation

Experience Profile

• 8–15+ years in architecture roles (solution, systems, or platform architecture)

Candidate Persona

A forward-looking architect who balances innovation with control. Able to challenge naive AI approaches and elevate designs to production-grade standards, especially in regulated or client-specific environments.

To be eligible for SC clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.
