The Regional Key Account Executive manages a portfolio of the region's significant accounts, both commercial customers and domestic buying groups, whose scale or complexity means they need more than a phone-based relationship. The Regional Key Account Executive is expected to know their accounts properly: how they buy, what drives their decisions, and where there's room to grow the relationship, then act on that knowledge through structured account reviews, face-to-face visits and genuine commercial conversations, not just responsive account servicing. The role reports to the Senior Regional Key Account Manager, working alongside three other Regional Key Account Executives covering the rest of the region's significant account base.

Own retention, revenue and margin performance for the assigned account portfolio. Identify and act on opportunities to grow account value: additional product lines, increased volume, and wider adoption of NWF Fuels' services. Conduct genuine commercial conversations at every customer touchpoint, not only at renewal. Support renewal negotiations, working within delegated pricing authority and escalating where terms fall outside it.
Visit accounts in person on a planned cycle appropriate to their
scale and significance. Represent NWF Fuels professionally at customer sites, industry events and buying group meetings. Prepare and deliver structured account review materials that demonstrate a genuine understanding of the customer's business.
Deliver a consistently high standard of service and responsiveness across the portfolio. Act as the customer's main point of contact, coordinating with Client Services and Operations where an issue needs support beyond the account relationship. Monitor satisfaction within the portfolio and act on any signs of dissatisfaction early.
Work closely with the Senior Regional Key Account Manager on account planning, renewal strategy and escalations. Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans and opportunity data for the portfolio. Share customer and market intelligence with the wider key account and internal account teams.
